Odisha Matric results to be declared on May 2023

 The Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) is responsible for conducting the annual High School Certificate (HSC) Examination for Class 10 students in the state. The HSC Assessment-II examination 2023 was conducted from March 10 to 20, and the results are usually declared in the month of May. This Year, the Odisha matric result was going to declare May month.

Total number of students: Over 6 lakh students appeared for the HSC exam in 2021.


Pass percentage: The overall pass percentage was 97.89%, which was an improvement from the previous year's pass percentage of 78.76%.


Topper: The top rank was secured by four students - Siddharth Rautray, Bighnesh Kumar Rout, Jeswarika Das, and Samarth Verma, who scored 601 out of 600 marks.


Gender-wise performance: The pass percentage of girls was slightly higher than that of boys. While 98.08% of girls passed the exam, 97.67% of boys passed.


District-wise performance: Nayagarh district had the highest pass percentage with 99.5%, while Malkangiri district had the lowest pass percentage with 93.64%.


Supplementary exam: Students who had failed in one or more subjects had the option to appear for the supplementary exam which was held in July.


Overall, the Odisha matric result 2021 was a good one for the students of the state with a high pass percentage and several toppers scoring excellent marks.
