Odisha‬ girl Lalita wins Community Impact Award at Google Science Fair

Odisha‬ girl Lalita Prasida Sripada Srisai wins at Google Science Fair.
Mostly Odia girl Lalita Prasida Sripada Srisai is win the Community
Impact Award and she is the one is participated at Google Science Fair
2015 that held on California. She is originally from Koraput district of
Odisha and she is an Class IX student. Lalita Prasida Sripada Srisai
created a project at Google Science Fair on Corn Cobs as water
purifier. Firstly she is selected in Google science fair 2015 top 20
finalists. The project is that for using corn cobs its filter
contaminants like detergents, dyes, oxides of salts, oil, suspended
particles and other bad materials.

This Google Science Fair 2015 was sponsored by Scientific American
organization. Lalita Prasida Sripada Srisai win the Community Impact
Award trophy with US$ 10,000. Google science fair 2015 winner is Oliva
Hallisey from United States and the she is done a project name is
stable test for the Ebola virus. In this Google Science Fair 100
countries are participated in the age between 13 to 18. Lalita also get
one year support from Scientific American organization for working in
